Research Shows That Tea Improves Gut Microbiota
We love a good news tea story and there are plenty of them around!
Yesterday, a Tea Advisory Panel report published in The Express showed that drinking 4-5 cups of tea per day can contribute to healthy gut microbiota in as little as 1-2 days. That’s a lot more fun than pill-popping for a few months.
Also reported was the antimicrobial effects of tea drinking on the upper gastrointestinal tract. In short, tea drinking helps freshen the palate by fighting dental decay and bad breath. 😷👏
